GeoCamp Iceland is dedicated to transforming Iceland’s extraordinary landscapes into nature’s ultimate classroom. We specialise in hands-on educational travel and the development of innovative learning resources that inspire curiosity and deepen understanding of Earth sciences, climate change, and sustainable energy.

We organise and host international study tours for secondary school and college students, as well as professional development programmes for teachers, with a focus on STEAM education spanning geology, geography, natural sciences, and renewable energy. Our itineraries go far beyond sightseeing — they provide immersive, field-based learning experiences designed to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world understanding.

In addition to our study tours, we actively engage in educational development projects both in Iceland and internationally. We create student and teacher guides, curricula, and practical learning materials, and participate in collaborative initiatives that advance sustainability, outdoor education, and science communication.

With GeoCamp Iceland, you’re not just visiting — you’re learning, connecting, and becoming part of a community committed to understanding and protecting our planet.

GeoCamp Iceland is an authorised tour operator and travel agency, fully licensed under the Icelandic Tourism Administration Act. We are proudly rooted in the Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark, where our work contributes to educational innovation, community engagement, and the sustainable future of our region.
